Catholic Church in La Jolla (below)
Que viva la raza on this one. Long live Mexican weddings. The Vildosola family is very special to me. Even McTrepidation kept commenting on what a nice family they were by the end of the night. Mariachis galore. Karlita, the bride having a bucket of Diet Coke and McNuggets brought in from McDonalds during the reception. In-N-Out Burgers delivered to the dancing-weary revelers at midnight? You bet your culito. Karlita's personality came through on EVERY detail of this wedding. Thankfully the airport in San Diego opened back up (after being closed to incoming flights due to heavy fog) and we were only an hour late to the two hour Catholic Mass (in spanish). Mr. McNoHablaEspanol was not saddened by this delay.

Que viva la raza!!!! Que padre Karen! I love the outfit.
It looks like it was a blast! And I think you made the right outfit choice.
Ok that looked totally fun. I actually like the dress. Very cool.

So, the jcrew shirt won in the end, huh? Very very beautiful- the whole outfit! Me gusta mucho, muchacha. Glad you had a fun time, and hope you got some latino dancing in too...I would have been all OVER that dance floor, all embarrassing Eric and all. Good job for making the effort for a long time friend. Impressive.
What a fun weekend! Your outfit was great! Janet
I have attached a link in our local news about your friend who was in that horrible plane crash. I thought you would be interested. Hopefully I will have the family pic sent out in time for Christmas so I can verify that I am surviving:)

Now that is my kind of wedding! Cute blog, LOVE the pictures of your kids on the side. Hopefully we will get to see you guys when we come home for Christmas
That outfit turned out really beautiful. Looks like you had fun.
Loved the dress--- but that finger action you had going in the first picture completes the entire ensemble. A little Sense and Sensibility mixed in with some Karen spunk. Loved it.
